Will My Blonde Highlights Turn Pink?

My hair is naturally dark blonde hair and I have blonde highlights. I'm fed up with blonde hair and want red hair. Will my highlights turn pink even if I get it done professionally?

They may, and they might not. Your hairdresser will need to do a few strand tests to determine if the color you choose will work without turning pink.

Naturally blonde hair looks awesome with strawberry blonde highlights. Why not just try some reddish highlights first, before you try coloring all of your hair red.

If you opt for darker or brighter red colors however, you're more likely to get better results on blonde hair. However, darker red colors are harder to remove if you decide you don't like it.

The best way to determine if red colors will work or not, is to try a couple of strand tests though. I would insist that your hairdresser do a few of these first, before attempting to color the rest of your hair.
