Will an ash dye turn my hair green?
I have had my hair dark brown for years. I decided I would like to go back to my natural dirty blonde color. I had some highlights put in yesterday to lighten my hair up. The problem is that it has come out very brassy. They used two toners and its still brassy at the ends.
Will putting an ash blonde dye on my hair turn it green? (I read this online.) Any help would be great. Thanks.

Your hair could turn green if the ash color you use has a blue base and if the blonde color (the salon used) had a yellow base. (yellow + blue = green) You could do a simple strand test to see if this will happen but why do you want to fix their mistake?
The best advice is to call the salon and complain straight away. Make them fix the brassy color since you've already paid for the service. Don't take unnecessary chances with your hair.
You could also try a purple shampoo, like
Shimmer Lights, to help pull the brassy color out of your ends, but your hair could end up turning purple if your ends are dry.
