Which Color Highlights look Best with Dark Brown Hair?

Hi! I have always wanted a color highlight in my hair, and my mom is finally letting me get one. I have dark brown curly hair, which color do you think would look best purple or blue? *********************  Well Courtney, that's a great question. I think it's a matter of preference and what you like best. I think they both look fantastic. Blue is a chilling, icy color, whereas purple is warmer and more inviting. I like both of them though and think they look awesome. I wished they had these bright hair colors around when I was younger. I sure would have used them in my hair! The only blue hair color they had when I was young was a blue rinse by Roux that older ladies used a lot. lol {I am sure it's probably still available though.} Hopefully we'll get more responses but I uploaded a picture of both so you can compare them. Let us know what you decide to do! I know you are super excited but take some time to consider both. Maybe you could do a blend of both colors, or would that be too radical for your mom?
