What is dry shampoo?
this is kind of what my hair looks like
I'm 14yr old guy with shortish straight hair that's usually "spiked" up, sorta like the dude in the picture attached.
My hair looks fine and is easy to work with whenever I wash it, but the day after it gets quite rough and deflated. So I learned about this product called dry shampoo from this you-tuber who used to wash his hair everyday (I wash mine every other day btw) but now has stopped doing that because of the new product he uses between washes.
So I'm asking what exactly is it? Can I use the day after I wash my hair so It can be easy to work with again? Because it'd be awesome to have the same type of hair I have when I wash my hair, all the time or at least similar to it.

Dry shampoo is made with powders that attract oils. It generally comes as a spray. You spray the dry shampoo into the oily areas, work them around a bit, then brush out your hair. (try not to get it onto your scalp...)
It is mainly used by people who have problems with greasy or
oily hair. Its fine to use it the day after you wash your hair, however I'm not completely convinced it makes your hair easier to deal with/work with.
You have short enough hair that you should be able to safely wash your hair everday. If you want, you could just wet your hair instead of washing it too so you don't have to wash it as much.
