Weight loss success stories may just give you the extra kick you need to lose the fat. Sometimes all you need is a little inspiration!
It’s not so much about methodology as it is about mind set. To lose weight effectively, your brain has got to connect with your body.
I truly wished I could set the example here but I’ve been relatively thin most all my life. Of course, some of my body has been rearranged a bit but I'm still about the same weight as I was in high school. You may think that I was born with good genes or a high metabolism, which may have played a part of it, but most of it came from sheer will. I never let my weight get out of control by making strong associations between mind-body-spirit at an early age. I didn't much care for the way extra weight made me feel either!
However, my friend Dr. Patrick had a really hard time losing weight throughout his childhood and well into his teens. In fact, for many years, he practiced chiropractics overweight, which took a toll on his knee's, not to mention his self esteem! He decided that enough was enough, and took off a bunch of weight just by watching what he ate and doing regular cleansing.

All in all, it took Dr. Patrick about 6 months of cleansing
to get rid of what he had gained over the years, which by all standards, wasn't very long. He also learned along the way how to feed his body with foods that were medicinal in nature and to avoid people and situations that would tempt him into overeating.
These are hard lessons but they do pay off!

Tips for Weight Loss Success
Keeping your weight at a constant is one of the best ways to avoid degeneration and disease.
If you pay close attention to what you’re putting in your mouth, you have a much better chance at slimming down.
No one else has control over your life. Only you can control what you eat, how much you eat, and when you eat.
There is a strong association between the over consumption of carbohydrates to extra weight to disease. If you want to take weight off and stay healthy, cut back on carbohydrates or try a low carb diet.
Fresh whole foods and grains feed your body with essential nutrients your body needs to assimilate and digest foods thoroughly. Remember, real food HAS NO LIST OF INGREDIENTS to sort through. These are the type of foods you should concentrate on.
Too much weight leads to a higher risk for diabetes, joint pain, heart disease, and stroke. The more weight you gain, the more medical conditions you set yourself up for, and the more pharmaceutical drugs you’re going to need. The more prescriptions you take, the further you move away from health.
Protein alone is essential to weight loss as well as lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.
If you can’t get your vitamins from the foods you eat, taking vitamin supplements is essential, especially vitamin D and selenium.
Water is vital to your body and a healthy weight. Without sufficient water intake, your body is unable to function properly.
