Wavy Frizzy Hair

Why when I was young, my hair was straight and not frizzy (nice and healthy hair), but now my hair has changed to wavy and a bit frizzy. How do I fix my frizzy hair?

Genetics and your hormones are largely responsible for the difference you're noticing. If you ever have children, your hair will change again most probably.
Curly/wavy,
thick hair is often mistaken as being frizzy. Because of the waves and the thickness, your hair has no choice but to expand outwardly. There is no way to 'fix' thick hair unless you have it thinned. Once its been thinned, it lays down and behaves much better.
Another way to help frizzy hair is to use smoothing products like
smoothing creams. Creams are a much better alternative than using de-frizzing oils because they don't make your hair look greasy. Using a flat iron on your hair also helps but isn't practical or healthy for your hair to do everyday. These techniques are temporary, however.
You can also help tame your hair by using
hair color glazes. (You can buy the clear formula if you don't want to add color to your hair.) Glazes add a coating to your hair and that helps to weigh it down.
Leave in conditioners also add weight to your hair and work the same way.
Of course, there are now many smoothing products new to the market. When you buy shampoos and conditioners, look for the words 'sleek', 'silk' and 'smoothing' on the product label.
Using an
ion blow dryer instead of a regular dryer will also help smooth your hair by deionizing it.
If you have thick or
long hair, don't wash it everyday and be sure to use your own hands to help smooth down your hair when you can. Oils from your palms accumulate during the day so running them over your hair occasionally, will help to smooth your hair.
