Tragedy with Curly Hair
Well, I just moved to a new city and after three months of asking around, and really searching out a hair dresser I thought I found 'the one'. I even met with her for a consult. I felt thrilled that she seemed to get what I wanted. Then I went back for my appointment, she had forgotten who I was - fine, she's busy. Then she proceeded to like try to recall what it was I wanted. I told her over again and showed her a pic of the colors I wanted. We looked at swatches and agreed.
I was very specific as one of my closest friends was my hairdresser before I moved so I knew what I was asking for and how to ask for it properly.
Well, not only did the deep purple-almost black turn out orangey reddish purple, she cut my deep bangs that were supposed to jag into my longer layers.
She's fixing the heinous color disaster in two days (two whole days!!!) but sadly my poor bangs will take months to grow out to what they were before she hacked at them like a 3 year old with Crayola scissors. Worst part was ... I paid $185 bucks. What the???
Such high hopes ... so disappointed.

Its always helpful to get the color level and # from your hairdresser when you move or change hairdressers. There is never a good reason for them NOT to give this critical information to you. This really helps to lessen color mistakes! Take this information with you to your next hairdresser! It really helps!
The good news is that your hair will grow out again and your bangs will be fixable. The color, well, that's going to be a hard one to fix, especially if she did lowlights in your hair. Good luck though!
