Excellent Tip to Lose Weight

This is a most excellent tip to lose weight that I learned by eating with a friend’s family regularly while I was growing up. At that time, it seemed really unusual however, the older I got, the more it made sense to me. If you do this one thing while you eat, you will have better digestion and not be as hungry after you eat a meal.



It's not rocket science to understand how your body works. Your body is made to do certain things when you do certain things. This suggestion might surprise you a lot, but don't knock it till you try it.


The suggestion is; don’t drink while you eat! And I mean nothing, nadda, nope, no go, no way, no how. (Ok, you can have a sip or two...) This is exactly what the experts are now suggesting, although there are people (including moi) that have used this practice for years. Your body simply works much more efficiently when you eat food by itself.

Tip to Lose Weight



Here’s the thing: Most people just don’t realize how much they drink during meals.

Most people tend to drink lots of liquids while they eat, but if you fill up on fluids, you'll get full so much faster. But wait? Isn't that a good thing? Not really, no! You are much more prone to get hungry later, after you eat because you weren't full from food in the first place. If you are full of fluids and food at the same time, then how will you know if you're really full from food? Its good advice to drink water before and after a meal, but not during.

The other problem that drinking too much during a meal can cause is indigestion. Think about it. Too much + Too fast = UGGGHHH!

No one likes heartburn! You are going to think you are full, but then you'll be much more likely to want something to eat again later. You'll be tempted to eat something else. You know, something that's not so nutritious or something that's less inappropriate?

Eat your meals slowly and drink water only before and after you eat. That way you'll know you are satisfied on food only during meals. It's also an excellent tip to lose weight because it also aids your digestive process.

If you drink lots of fluids during a meal, then you are diluting the digestive juices. Gastric juices are at highest concentrations when you haven't eaten for a while.

Your digestive tract is more likely to break down foods more effectively and efficiently if 'food' is the only thing present in your stomach!

This is also a great tip to lose weight during festive times of the year like Christmas and Thanksgiving. If you don't drink as much during your big meal, you'll fill up faster on the foods you eat and will be less likely to eat as much after dinner. If you don't like that uncomfortable feeling you get from overeating, try cutting back on the amount of fluids you drink while you're eating.

You'll be amazed at the great results you get! You'll actually eat less foods as your stomach gets used to filling up on food, not liquid. If you eat healthy foods, you'll lose even more weight!

It's an excellent tip to lose weight if you can do it. Once you get used to it, it'll be like you've been doing it all along. Good habits vs. bad habits. So what do ya think? Think you can?

See if you can at least try it. I've been eating this way for years and my weight rarely fluctuates. It really helps!
