The worst haircut ever

It was summer and school was starting back in about three weeks. So my mom decided to take me to the salon and get my haircut so it would look good for school. Immediately i was excited! I'd always loved going to get my haircut. I keep my hair long because thats what looks good on me, and when i go to get it cut i never really get a big change; usually just a trim and some layers. I like my hair to go down to the small of my back so i guess you can consider that really long. In school people always talk about how long and pretty it is, so i would never consider cutting my hair short. Well we arrived at the salon, and i was flipping through the magazine and i saw that alot of the girls in the magazines had those really cute bangs that sweep to the side. I noticed that side swept bangs were coming into style, so i decided i would try them. I page marked the page with the cutest bangs so i could show the hair stylist. When it was finally my turn i went and sat in her chair and told her what i wanted. I told her i wanted a side sweep bang cut right under my eye, and just a little trim in the back because i wanted to keep my length. Then she suggested that i do some layers in the front to match the bangs; so i said ok, trusting her because she was the expert.

Well she finally gets done with my hair and she turns the chair around so i could look... and i want to scream and cry all at the same time. She whacked all of my hair off i no longer had hair that covered my back. It was now at my chin. My hair is really thick so with all of the weight off of it it was so puffy... and my bang looked awful. They were about 1 inch and a half above my eyebrow. (i asked her to cut them under my eye.) I told her i loved it and i went home looked in my bathroom mirror and burst into tears and that wasn't the worst part that day.. before i got my hair cut i was having a really good hair day. Thankfully after a year its back to how i like it.

Bless your heart!.... right before school too! Thats the worst ever! Women cherish their hair! When it doesn't look good, we don't feel good! Thats a fact! I'm glad you finally got it back to the length you like. If you want to cut your own bangs, I suggest you use the bridge of your nose if you want them to fall just above the eyebrows. If you want them longer, cut them to the tip of the nose or longer. If you want them side swept, they should be angled down from the center to the side you want to wear them on.
