Stripping Hair Color

I went to a very posh salon to have my black hair dye stripped out, so I could work my way up to my natural mousey light brown colour.
It looked very red after the stripping obviously, however they decided to not give me what I wanted at all. They put a very dark brown colour over it and decided to put red bits in.
Very unflattering and they blow dryed my hair way too flat and put too much product in - there was no volume in my hair whatsoever.
I payed a shocking £110 for the treatment.
Thankfully years later the owner of the salon got into serious debt issues and his salon was shut down. Security didn't allow the stuck up stylists to get their belongings back.
I heard a lot of bad things about that salon before, and they quality was appalling.

Unfortunately, this continues to be the trend in salons. Stripping your hair is always a concern, but licensed stylists are supposed to be able to handle the service. Red colors are infamously hard to remove especially. Its unbelievable that they chose to add more!
