This versatile color invites shades of lavender, purple, pink, and even red, and blends well into any makeup regimen you can throw at it. Now that you know which color to wear more of, lets get down to the nitty gritty; what's trending this year!

Spring Makeup Trends 2014

glowing skin image

  • Set your skin aglow! – Put away those powders! Radiant skin was all the buzz on the runway this spring. Your foundation should consist of a ‘radiant’ tinted moisturizer or a liquid skin illuminator. Bronzers are also trending, along the bridge of the nose, the forehead, and cheeks... but use a wet sponge to help keep your skin fresh and shiny.

    disco blue eyeshadow image

  • Discotheque blue and white shadows will come in handy this year! Brush them all over the lid (to right under the eyebrows) to either light up or subdue the mood. Pull shadow lines well beyond the eyes to stay stylish.

    blue shadow extension image

  • Purr-fect your eyes by trying geometric eyes, an updated version of the cat eyes. Extending lines well beyond the corners will look both hot and bold. To keep in makeup trends this spring, (and beyond), keep the lines precise and clean. No smudging please! Use blue pencils or shadows but limit black to liquid dark perfecting liners. Try L’Oréal’s 16hr Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner, which never lets you down.

    tangerine lipstick image

  • Get your lips ready to sizzle with a bright orange lipstick, which appeared frequently on the catwalk this year. Tone down bold oranges by applying a soft nude creamy shade right on top, as you prepare for warmer weather! Peaches and tangerine colors are close matches you can pull off. Draw the attention on the lips by toning down your eyes and cheeks.

    gold shimmering skin image

  • Gold shimmering skin is in so break out those shimmer lotions you’ve stashed away. Sparkling skin speaks for itself! Applying a loose gold glitter right on the lids to keep your look in vogue!

Whatever spring makeup trends you choose to follow, remember that this year's Pantone color is modern and vivacious! All by themselves, dynamic colors can show facial expression... without YOU ever having to move a muscle!
