Create Spiral Curls in Your Hair

Order the WENŽ Healthy Hair Care System and receive FREE bonuses

Its very easy to create spiral curls in your hair. All you need is a good curling iron and a few basic hair products! Easy breezy to do! You'll have it in no time! Its all in the way you hold your curling iron!

These are really in style right now too! All the movie stars wear them regularly and so do ordinary folks like me and you!

Before you curl your hair, make sure it's completely dry. If you want to add gels or mousse or any other products to your hair, you'll need to do it before you curl it. You can apply them to damp hair too and blow dry your hair if you've just washed your hair and you're in a hurry. After you make your spiral curls, add a firm holding hairspray to keep them in place.

When you normally curl your hair, you generally hold your curling iron horizontally. When you make spirals, you hold the iron vertically. Of course you can roll your hair with regular rollers this way too but its a little bit tougher to do. If you do this, you must roll all of them to the front or to the back. It won't work to intermix them. (roll one back and one forward)

Another thing to consider is the size of your barrel. If you want tight curls, you'll need to use a 1" or less barrel. If you want larger curls that are less tight, use a 1 & 1/2" or 2" barrel. For a more messy look, leave some of the ends out instead of tucking them into the barrel. This gives a less formal look thats right for any time of the day or night.

You can also buy special curling irons that are made for spiral curls. I have one and love it! They are perfect for shoulder length or longer hair or for those who like their curls to be more uniform. Super easy to do! For a twist you can just add a couple of spirals to your hair and not do all of it. It gives you a different look instead of the same ole same ole!

Also, try and buy irons that have a temperature control on them. Start your curls on a low setting. If that doesn't hold your hair, go up incrementally until it holds it. Section your hair off before you begin. Clip your top hair out of the way and start your curls at the bottom working your way up to the top. Try to keep your sections small. That way your curls will hold longer. You'll get more in my video below!
