Smooth Straight Hair

I have long and slightly curly hair, but it gets dry easily and feels rough to the touch.
I want smooth straight hair. Can you please give me some suggestions?

Wanting sleek hair is something that every woman with curly and wavy hair seems to desire. A lot of it depends on environment, genetics, and your general hair care.
If you live in a high humidity environment, your hair will naturally tend to be frizzy. This is especially true, the thicker your hair is. The only way to keep your hair smooth and straight, is to use a straightening iron regularly or to have your hair rebonded. Both however, can stress your hair and make hair problems worse.
If you're looking for a more permanent solution that you can do at home, you might also consider using a Natural Keratin Smoothing Treatment. This product will cost more to buy initially but the results should last a good while. (If its done properly.) For the cost, its still a lot less expensive than getting your hair rebonded! (Directions for use are on the product information page.)
Temporary treatments include smoothing products and a mutitude of straightening products too. Both of these products help to lay down your hair cuticle, which helps retain moisture and keeps your hair looking sleek.
You might consider (since the air is dry in many parts of India) using a leave in conditioner. These help weigh down your hair (which helps pull out curl) and keep it moisturized at the same time, without looking greasy.
There are a few products that help keep your hair straighter that I enjoy using. My own hair is naturally wavy and it gets especially frizzy during the summer months. Both Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff, John Frieda Finishing Creme, and Biosilk Silk Therapy work well for my hair temporarily. However, as soon as you wash your hair, you'll need to reapply more of the product(s).
Since everyone's different though, you'll need to find the products that work well for you. Look for the keywords 'smoothing', 'silky' and 'straightening'. You'll have much better luck keeping your hair smooth and straight.
