Shampoo for Rebonded Hair

by Angel
(USA)

Hi! I just had my hair rebonded one month ago. I'm from Bangladesh originally but migrated to USA just before one month. Can you please suggest me which shampoo and conditioner should I use now? Thanks in advance.

You definitely want to take care of your straight hair once it's been rebonded. Rebonding is pricey so don't blow it by using hair products that are not suited for your hair. This is definitely no time to scrimp by not using the right hair products!

To keep your hair bone straight, use smoothing shampoos and smoothing conditioners. They help lay down the hair cuticle which keeps it straight.

You can also opt to use straightening shampoos and straightening conditioners. Both smoothing and straightening hair products work the same way. They help lay down your hair cuticles.

A good brand to use is called Kerastase. Many women with rebonded hair have had good success with it so far. The products are a bit pricey to buy initially but a little lasts a long time. Try their satin shampoo for better hair success!

I should also think that hair glazes would be a great product to help smooth your hair. You can buy glazes that add a hint of hair color or clear types that only add shine. Try Sebastian Cellophanes.

Oh, and by the way. Welcome to the USA! Let me know if you need more hair help!
