Shakira's Spiral Curls

I would like to know how to get my hair to look like Shakira's hair on the cover of her CD Laundry Service. I would like to not have to use heat.

Shakira either has a spiral perm in her hair, or her hair's been styled into loose spiral curls using a curling irons or hot rollers.

If you want spiral curls, roll your hair vertically, not horizontally. You can use regular rollers if you don't want to use heat. If you want your curls to last, use hair gel before you curl your hair and then use lots of flexible hair spray on your curls afterward. Be sure to let it completely dry though, before you move around too much.

You do not want to pick out spiral curls like other curls! Spiral curls were meant to be 'fixed'. The size of your curlers or your iron barrel will determine the size of your curls you create.
