Screwed by Chase Twice

I got screwed by Chase Bank Twice! I dropped Chase 3 years ago for raising my rates for no reason, and switched to Washington Mutual and had no problems at all. Well, come to find out Chase took over WAMU and low and behold here comes anther screwing of 10% to 16%, even though I've never been late on one payment and had a fixed rate with WAMU. What can I do? ***************************** Gosh Daniel. I wished I knew. Getting screwed and not enjoying it sucks! You can't report banks to the Better Business Bureau that I know of. There is not much any of us can do. They are getting ready next year to implement stricter rules for the way banks handle credit cards, but they will still be able to raise rates on us. The only advantage will be that they have to give us more time to implement changes to our account. (60 days I believe) That's not really going to help us much!!! We are slaves to the banks when we use credit cards, but without them we can't build credit. Huh? None of it makes sense. Maybe we should all move to another country! That'd serve them! Believe me, I have been tempted and Costa Rico is looking better and better! (Canada's too cold and Mexico's got too much crime.) It really makes a person want to sell everything they own and get the heck out of here! Go live in a small house, live off the land as much as possible, and not work much the rest of your life! Wow! Imagine that! Very tempting indeed! |
