Safe to Perm Virgin Hair

im the one on the far right.
this is how i would like my hair
or this,
I have long auburn straight hair now, about to my lower back. I love my hair, but i really want it to do something because i dont want it to get to the point where if my hair gets too long it looks bad. I think if I got like a perm, (like loose curls), and some side swept bangs, that would be really cool. I really like that look.
I’m just not sure cause I’ve never done anything to my hair. No chemicals so far so it’s all natural.
I would appreciate your opinion on if I should do it, or what I should do. Any tips on how to do my hair so I can still wear it long. BTW, my hair is really healthy now...
This is the style that I want:

Virgin hair is always more preferable to perm. It holds the curls longer and rarely poses a problem.
The style of hair you like, is
spiral curls. You'd do well to get a spiral perm, but these can be very costly at a salon, especially with your long locks.
Side swept bangs would also do well on your round face. They will detract from the fullness of your face and give your face more curves and shape. Just be sure they're cut on a bony protrusion, like your chin or your cheekbones.
A nice trim after your perm should finish the style. Everyone needs their hair trimmed every now and again. Hair grows out quickly so losing a couple of inches won't even be noticed in a few months.
