Simple Ways to Reverse Aging – No Surgery Required!



If you want to reverse aging, you will have to work at it some!

To turn back the clock, you need to start a good skin care regiment early on. However, its never too late to start!

There are three major contributors to the aging process. If you can avoid them you can help slow down the aging process, but there are some other things you can do too!

Fine lines and wrinkles are some of the first signs of aging that you might experience. Your skin tone also changes with time. If you've always had great skin, it might start to look a little different with age. Skin tones can become reddened, blotchy, or ‘different’ than it was when you were younger.

Gray hair may also start showing with age. Your physical appearance starts changing too. Boobs and chins sag, arms lag, eyes sag and bag. What a drag!

As you age, you also have a tendency to become more forgetful and you may have to make lists of things you need to do. Then of course, you go shopping and leave those lists at home. Things that used to be easy become much harder. Sometimes we even give up and give into the aging process but you don't have to!

So how can we reverse aging?

Three Major Contributors to Aging

1) The Sun

2) Excessive Alcohol or Drugs

3) Stress

You can possibly avoid the sun or alcohol or drugs to reverse aging, but avoiding stress is like asking you to avoid eating food. Its virtually impossible!

Stress and anxiety is and always will be a part of our lives. It sucks, but there are some things we can do to reverse aging that will also help you counteract stress.

Simple Ways to Reverse Aging

  • Take vitamin supplements. Taking vitamins on a regular basis can really help you add years to your life and help your skin look more youthful.

    Taking vitamins separately enables you to get the essential nutrients and antioxidants your body needs to combat free radicals and prevent cancer and other deadly diseases. Also, taking vitamins separately, lets you stream line the vitamins you take. Take the vitamins that give you the most advantages.

    Taking them separately takes a bit more time and planning but what price will you pay for a little inconvenience?

    If you've been under a whole lot of stress, be sure to take B vitamins and calcium regularly. Your body cannot fight stress properly without them. Also, if you find that you're getting depressed, be sure to take extra calcium and omega 3 fatty acids.

  • Use lots of lotions! Your skin needs proper moisture to keep smooth and soft. Lotions also help plump the skin and help keep the elasticity and the integrity of the skin. You will need a good facial moisturizer and a separate body lotion.

    Choose lotions that are preferably full of natural ingredients and botanicals that quench your skin. Make sure the lotions you choose are water based, which helps them absorb quickly into your skin. Apply lotions to your skin as soon as you get out of the shower and dry off. Pat your skin dry instead of rubbing it so your lotions can encapsulate the moisture on your skin!

    You can also do a firming body massage everyday with your body lotions to help maintain skin hydration and tone muscles!

  • Eat nutritious foods. Foods with little or no nutritious value, also called junk foods, will trash your body!

    To reverse aging, eat nutritious foods more often, and fatty foods less often. You can also make your own healthy snacks at home for much less money!

    Don’t be prejudiced either! Vegetables that are more brightly colored offer the most nutritional value. Add them to your meals regularly, to get even more nutrition.

  • Drink water.

    Your body cannot function properly without it. Drink water like you live on the Sahara Desert! To have plump skin, you need at least 8 glasses of water (only) a day.

    You are exposed to a multitude of toxins everyday. When toxic substances (like free radicals) are introduced into your body, fat cells surround them and store them deep in the fat tissues. When you drink plenty of water, fat cells are flushed out from your body along with the toxins. Your skin is one of the first places that shows toxic build up, so keep drinking plenty of water to reverse aging and prevent your skin from looking sallow and sickly.

  • Include exercise in your daily schedule. I'm sure you've heard it before but it’s worth repeating for obvious reasons.

    Exercise helps tone muscles and eliminate toxins from your body. The more toxins your body expels, the more you and your body will thrive!

    #6) Use Your Brain. My son always reminds me to 'use your brain, mom'! Exercise your brain by reading more, playing games, or solving puzzles. Spend time with your family playing favorite old games or do funny Adult Mad Libs with your mate.

  • Get Enough Sleep. If you are getting too much or too little sleep, it can affect the way you look big time.

    Only you however, can determine how much sleep you need. If you’re over 20 years old and reading this, you should know how much you need by now. Everyone has different needs so adjust your sleep patterns to meet them.

    Lack of enough sleep will age you beyond measure. If you’re only getting 4 or 5 hours a night, you might want to rethink your sleeping strategy and try to incorporate more. Sound, peaceful sleep can enhance your daily performance, make you look well rested, (which means less fine lines and wrinkles), and really helps reverse aging!

  • Lose some weight. Use common sense tips to help you slim down, and you will look better and feel better.

    Dragging around extra weight puts a tremendous strain on your body. It also affects how well your body functions. Do all you can to lose weight and shed those extra pounds, especially dangerous belly fat!

    More Tips to Reverse Aging

  • Use a sunless tanning lotion for your skin instead of getting out in the sun as much.

    Tanning beds are dangerous for your skin and should not be used. We all need some sun though, as it helps your body produce Vitamin D. Just heir on the side of caution. Avoid the sun during the hottest parts of the day. Even though tanned skin looks good, remember that nothing in excess is good for you!

  • Use drugs or alcohol less often. Any kind of drug (prescription or illegal) you use can be harmful to you over time if they aren’t really necessary.

  • Color your hair if you want to hide those gray ones. Hair color can be fun and easy! Gray hair will make you look much older so get rid of it today!

  • Get regular massages. Massage therapy can really help alleviate stress. It has all kinds of other benefits too.

    Benefits include better circulation of both the lymphatic and circulatory system. It also helps lower stress levels, increases respiration, and improves muscle tone.

  • Use alpha hydroxy lotions regularly (starting in your twenties), to help remove dead skin cells and renew your skin.

  • If you're over forty, use chemical peels and chemical peel pads to improve your skin. As you age, these products and treatments can make a huge difference in how your skin looks!

  • One of the newest products on the market is called TNS Recovery Complex by Skin Medica. Its made from the stem cells of discarded foreskins. (Yes, you read that right!) None of the foreskins are used however. Just the stem cells. You can really help deter aging skin by using the right antiaging skin care product!

  • Try hyaluronic acid. This type of acid is different than other acids used in beauty care products. Hyaluronic acid attracts and holds moisture on your skin. You can use skin serums with hyaluronic acid or take hyaluronic acid supplements. Don't be fooled by products that boast 100% hyaluronic acid however. The molecules in these potions are too large for your skin to absorb. Use products instead, that have smaller amounts of hyaluronic acid for the best results.

    In most cases, its never too late to reverse aging and reduce the signs of time. Why not start today!
