Remove Green Hair Tint
I originally had brown hair with blonde and platinum highlights going through it. I used a medium ash brown color from Loreal. It turned my hair green with a purplish tint. What can I put on my hair to achieve a light golden brown color and get rid of these tints?

Sounds like a real hair dilemma! The problem is that you mixed color bases. Ash colors have a blue or green base. If you mix a blue base with a yellow base (highlights most probably), you get green. I am not sure where the purple color came from but you must've had some red in your hair too. (blue + red = purple)
I am not sure however, if the brown hair you had before was from an applied color or if it was your natural color? but I must assume it was hair color and not natural.
Either way, you will have to subtract color and then add color back. This must be done in steps, so be patient if you're going to try and fix it yourself. You will probably need a
color remover to get rid of as much of the green and purple tints as possible. If you only had green tints, it'd be easier to fix but purple is one of the hardest colors to remove from your hair. When you try and lift purple colors, your hair will turn your hair pink.
Color removers are strong chemicals, so they should not be used in excess. They must also be followed with a good
moisturizing protein treatment.
Once you remove the purplish and green hair tints, (assuming you will be successful) you will need to let me know what color your hair turns before I can advise you on how to get it back to a medium brown color.
If this doesn't help, you will need to seek out professional help.
The lesson? Never use a blue or green based ash color on top of yellow based blonde colors! Also, if you are going to continue to color your hair at home, you should know some basic information about the laws of color. My
