Red roots and hair is too light!

I have been getting my hair (blonde)high lighted and low lighted. My natural roots are a medium brown. I can't afford the cost of the constant coloring so I used a color remover on my hair. Then I put on the color I have used for years- a medium golden blonde. My roots are now RED and brassy and my hair is WAY too light. I think I have ruined it for sure.
Is there anything I can do or should I see my stylist. Also, if I do see her, is there anything SHE can do? My hair feels very dry now even with deep conditioning.

Yes, see your stylist. She will be able to examine your hair and give you the best results. A proper fix for your hair woes is hard to judge without seeing your hair first.
She should be able to remove the red color and tone the bottom of your hair to match the new root color without further damaging your hair.
In the meantime, keep using deep conditioners and help strengthen your hair with an occasional good quality
protein conditioner. Your hair needs both moisture and protein to maintain a healthy balance.
Best of luck!
