Razored Haircut Damage

Hello, I used to cut my hair with blunt scissors and razors. Now my hair's all scaly and hard and just weird looking. What product or treatment do I use for this? Best Regards.

*************

Razoring your hair a lot can make your hair feel different, possibly brittle or stiff feeling over time. If your hair feels hard, perhaps you have product build up on your hair?

If so, use a clarifying shampoo to remove it. Clarifiers should be used once a month if you use a lot of hair products.

If not, then you'll need to use deep moisturizing conditioners regularly to help restore your hair's health.

Biosilk Silk Therapy can help to smooth out gnarly unmanageable hair.

If you're more into using organic hair products, try organic deep conditioners instead. You won't have to worry about adding bad hair ingredients back to your hair.

Blunt scissors shouldn't damage your hair unless they aren't sharp enough or if you've been using them to razor your hair.

In the meantime, stop razoring your hair as much and let it have time to rest. Razoring too much compromises the structure of your hair and leaves it susceptible to breakage.
