Product to Remove Brassy Tones

There used to be a hair product that I used and I am pretty sure it was called dabber. It was a hair product you used to help get remove yellow/reddish/brassy tones that you may get while doing your own hair color treatment. I purchased it often at a local known drug store after hearing about it while in a salon. I can no longer find it.I loved it. Sold in a small bottle by itself. Again do not recall exact name or brand. Puts the ash color in my hair that I do not get with a pro or home treatment.

Well, that's very interesting to hear. I never heard of Dabber before. I wonder if its something you added to your hair color or a product that you used afterward? In any event, there are two products that I know of on the market that help get rid of brassy tones. Shimmer Lights is a shampoo that helps remove orangey or yellow colors in white or
gray hair but it also works for blonde hair. Its a purple shampoo that counteracts the red colors and works very well for some people. My mom used to have pure white (beautiful) hair and when she'd eat sweet potatoes, her hair would sometimes show orange colors. Shimmer Lights worked like a charm to remove them.
Another product on the market that works well for some people is L'Oreal Tone Refiner. You can buy it for blonde or brown hair.
Both products work well and both are very inexpensive to buy. You can find these products locally or on the internet.
