PM Shines to Correct Brassy Hair
I'm trying to remove that brassy look from my highlights. I used a PM shine 9bv with processing liquid. Does it matter that I used a 2-1 ratio?

From what I understand, you should use the processing liquid and the PM Shines in a 1:1 ratio only.
The problem is that PM Shines is a demi-permanent color. It can only deposit color on your hair, not cover it or correct it. The color is translucent, which means it will fade over time too.
You might try
Redkin Shades EQ or
Sebastian Cellophanes instead. Both are also demi permanent color but they are considered to be opaque colors, that become more permanent as you use them.
I would try the Cellophanes in the Pearl Blonde color. The description for it said:
"Use Sebastian Laminates Cellophanes Pearl Blonde as an overlay to reduce yellow undertones on all blondes. The violet base tones down brassiness while remaining sheer. Sebastian Laminates Cellophanes Pearl Blonde can even be used as an in-between brightener and conditioning service on other blonde shades".
Hope this helps!
