Overbleached Hair with a White Band and Hair Breakage

I am an Asian with naturally black hair and I bleached my hair about 4 times gradually. Everything was fine until I decided to redo my roots myself when they had only grown out by about an inch which of course this meant that I had overlapped onto already bleached hair... now I have long blonde hair with like a white band round my head and the worse news is, it's snapping so my 1 inch roots are standing on end (luckily at the back top part of my hair).

I was thinking of dying hair a crazy colour as this has no ammonia or peroxide in it but after googling it I realised this will probably make the 'white band' stand out more as the colour won't grab onto it as it is stark white?

So to summarise I have long hair past my shoulders which is a yellow blonde with yellow blonde roots...(this colour is nice) with WHITE....I am in distress.. :-(

I will do anything as I can pass off most looks but not a blatantly obvious mistake.....

Whatever you do, don't use more bleach and never try bleaching your roots by yourself. Its just much to strong and too many bad things can happen very quickly.

I would suggest that you just use a toner or a semi permanent hair color on your blonde hair. Actually, the white band in your hair will grab the color even more than the other hair. (the opposite of what you said)

To ensure that your all your hair takes the color evenly, you'll need to correct your hair porosity first. Do some deep conditioning treatments on your hair before you apply more color. This should also help with the hair breakage you're experiencing.

After you've corrected hair porosity, semi permanent (low peroxide) colors should take evenly all over. Its worth a try anyway. Since you like the yellowish blonde color, try a golden or beige light blonde semi permanent color.
