Q) - Is there a quick fix for over plucked eyebrows?

I know this question is a bit off base for ‘hair care’ questions, but I plucked one eyebrow back too far. Is there is a way to make it grow in faster?

Professional Hair Care Tips - Actually, hair is hair is hair! lol I have as much experience in beauty as well as hair. But you are right. This is really a 'hair matter'!

Many women, (including myself), have done exactly what you've done. I've over plucked my eyebrows quite a few times. No worries. The younger you are, the faster it will grow back. Where there are no quick fixes, you can get through this a little faster with these tips.

Tips for Over Plucked Eyebrows

1) Gently rubbing the eyebrow (that's plucked back to far) can stimulate circulation. (Massage your eyebrow several times a day.) The more circulation, the more it will stimulate hair growth. This is true for hair on any part of your body. Regular scalp massage can help people who have thinning hair.

2) Take Super Biotin. This is not free but is very inexpensive to buy. Find out more about biotin here.

Biotin supplements will help boost hair growth. (More so than any other vitamin.) I take super biotin everyday. Larger amounts of Biotin cannot hurt you as biotin is a water soluble vitamin. It also helps growth of nails and skin, which helps expedite cell turnover!

3) In the meantime, try using a soft pencil liner to 'fill in' your missing hair. Get great info about plucking your eyebrows and eyebrow shape.

4) Don't despair. Your hair will grow back! The one thing good about making mistakes, is that you tend not to repeat them again.

5) Try not to pluck your hair or cut your hair when you're frustrated or angry. I've done this many times, (especially cutting off my bangs) and really messed them up. The good news is that while it might be embarrassing for a few weeks, nothing bad lasts forever!

6) The older you get, the more cautious you must be about over-plucking your eyebrow hair. After (around) age 40, your eyebrows tend to thin out naturally. If you excessively pluck them past that age marker, they may never fully grow back.

7) You may want to try an eyebrow stencil! These are awesome and easy to use. You won't ever have to worry about over plucked eyebrows again!
