Outrageous Chase Bank Rate Hike!

I have a history of 100% on time payments and have never gone over my limit. I never received the notice in the mail Chase said they sent to inform me of an increase in my interest rates from 14.99 to 23.24%. I went to pay my bill this month and found the increase. I have been told there is nothing they "can do," since I did not respond to the notice they sent me (that I never got.) I reported them to the BBB. I will do whatever I can to fight this incredibly unfair practice. I am very disappointed that this is legal. **************** Gosh lady. You are not alone! So many people are waking up to smell Chase Banks stench in the air! The thing that gets me the most about all this, is that when most of us have paid off our cards, we will never be Chase Bank customers again! Don't they get that they're actually losing business by these practices? Their customer service employees are really rude too!, which also hurts their bottom line. Its just like big businesses though. They think short term, not long term, like it used to be. They want their bonuses NOW, and will do whatever they have to, to get them. We'll get our revenge though. When the parties over and our accounts are paid off and they're crying for us to 'come back'! I can't wait! |
