Oscar Oscar worst salon ever

I went to Mr Oscars salon in Pacific Fair Surfers Paradise Qld 15th January 2010 where the girl ruined my hair, she overlapped the bleach and my hair snapped off, apart from leaving it fluro yellow at the roots. When I went to complain I was offered my money back but my hair is still snapped off about 1 inch long on top and fluro yellow at the roots, Just a horrible job.

When I got home to Melbourne I was told that they would look after me in there salons in Melbourne the girl in the Doncaster salon fixed the yellow roots but wanted to charge me, charge me for snapping off my hair and leaving it yellow all I asked for was the roots to match the rest of my hair nothing hard, and that was it! I didn’t hear anything for 4 weeks, I thought to myself what kind of looking after is this?

Before I went to Oscar Oscar salon in Queensland Surfers Paradise Pacific fair, my hair was long past my shoulders with layers to my bra strap at the back, now i have a mullet and it was sticking up like a cockatoo. So I decided to send an email to head office and after talking to Mr Oscar he said that they would look after me till my hair grew back and offered to do my hair complementary in his Chadstone salon as he owns it out right and the stylists are not on commission.

After going to Chadstone 4 times, I was told 'this is it your last time' I then said but my hair isn’t like it was and Mr Oscar said he would fix it, the manager informed me that the salon was sold and the new owner will not honour my complementary colour even tho my hair still looks terrible and has been ruined again from the poor aplication techniques from the so called stylist at Oscar Oscar salon. Now this is twice in a year that Oscar Oscar salons have ruined my hair, it is all snapped off on top and looks shocking a mullet, in 1 year of being so called looked after my hair isn’t any longer and looks terrible its snapped off more since the last time I went to Mr Oscars salon in 28 December 2010 due to the staff not applying the products right, the last time I talked to the manager at Oscar Oscar salon in Chadstone was 2 months ago and I am waiting for Mr Oscar to call me to fix this problem.


I have been more than understanding in this matter but I don’t think it’s fair to ruin someone’s hair and just think they will go away. This is the worst thing to have happened and discussing after care service do not go to any Oscar Oscar salons they do not care it’s all about the money nothing more.

Sounds like sheer torture! Good on you for sticking to your guns and complaining in the first place. Its shocking but many women have their hair ruined and never say a thing until after they've left the salon, where the damage was done. That's not the time to complain if you can help it. Do it immediately if you can!
