Natural Red Hair Turning Brown
by Puzzled
I am a natural redhead. My hair has always been more auburn than red. However, the older I get, the more brown looking it becomes. I hear comments all the time like: "What have you put on that pretty red hair?" or "Your hair sure isn't red like it used to be!"
I have never colored my hair. I am puzzled as to why my hair has changed. I am not on any medications, so that wouldn't be the cause. I want my pretty red hair back. What should I do to bring back the natural shade? Thanks Sincerely, Puzzled

Its probably built into your genetics and unfortunately, there's not anything you can do to change your DNA. There are also hormonal changes that take place as you get older, which can make your hair appear different.
You can however, think about using a semi permanent hair color, which won't damage your hair but will give you the beautiful red color you desire! No more rude remarks about your hair and you will restore your beautiful red hair.
You should also consider using hair color glazes, which act like a semi permanent color but also give your hair great shine.
John Frieda Hair Glazes,
Sebastian Cellophanes, and
Redkin Shades EQ are three of the best brands to choose from.
If you don't want to color your hair, you'll have to get used to the comments. People with
gray hair have the same decision to make:
hair color or live with what you've got.
