You can look great by using a simple massage technique to help improve or literally eliminate deeper facial wrinkles! Getting older has it's drawbacks. Wrinkles are certainly part of that process.
However, there is a simple massage stroke that you can use on many wrinkles to improve them or possibly eliminate them. It certainly works well for me, especially on deeper lines and wrinkles. The best part about it is that it doesn't cost a penny! It just takes a bit of your time! It’s a massage technique called 'Ironing'.
Ironing any wrinkle involves applying back and forth pressure with your fingertips to 'iron' out a wrinkle. This technique is especially useful for your face more than other parts of your body, but you can certainly use this massage technique on many other places where you find wrinkles in your skin. This includes stretch marks.
On your face however, your skin is extremely delicate. This massage technique is only for wrinkles that appear on bony protrusions on your face, such as your chin, between your eyes, cheekbones, and forehead.
Simple Massage Technique
With your fingertips and a small amount of lotion, massage back and forth over the area of the wrinkle in the same direction as the wrinkle and then massage against the direction of the wrinkle.
Do this for about 2 minutes. Really work with and against the wrinkle using firm yet gentle pressure.
You can 'iron' the skin around your mouth, in between the eyes, forehead, chin and neck.
CAUTION:
Do not use this massage technique around your delicate eye area!
Deeper wrinkles respond best to this technique. No reason to buy wrinkle creams that are called 'fillers'. Most of the time, these just don't work. If you do find one that works well for you, (which I have not been able to find yet!), use the two methods in conjunction. You may just watch your facial wrinkles disappear! You just have to apply a bit of pressure and 'iron' the facial wrinkle(s) several times a day.
Please do be sure to add a small amount of lotion when you do this or you will stretch the delicate skin around the wrinkle and defeat the purpose.!
If you apply this massage technique daily, you will notice a change in your wrinkles in a very definite and positive way! You will see much better results in decreasing wrinkles than using an expensive deep wrinkle lotions that don't work well!
It's the applied pressure that does the trick. Massage re-trains your skin and helps generate collagen and elastin production by increasing circulation to the area of the wrinkle.
Wrinkles happen when there is lack of muscle tone. If there is a lack of muscle tone, then there is a lack of circulation to that area. Applied pressure really works when you apply it to the right areas!! It helps to re-tone and re-firm that part of the skin!
Its really that simple! Not only will it help you look great, your skin will feel great too! Smooth as a baby's behind!
Wrinkle Reducer in a Tube?
I recently tried a new product by L’Oreal called Collagen Filler Wrinkle Reducer.(Curiosity killed the pocketbook!) This lotion is specifically formulated for deep wrinkles. This is what the packaging says:
Collagen is the main protein of connective tissue.
It has: great tensile strength and is the main component of tendons and ligaments.
It is: responsible for skin elasticity and it’s degradation leads to wrinkles that are caused by the aging process.'
We have all heard about collagen injections to plump the face and lips. It is an essential element of the skin! This lotion is supposed to be 'specially formulated to improve deep wrinkles'! This anti-wrinkle lotion promises 'to plump and visibly smooth wrinkle creases'. It also promises 'to diffuse and fill in the depth and length of facial lines'.
Results:
PPPLLLLEEEAAASSSEEE!!! I used this product for about 4 weeks and saw only a very small, if any, difference in my (few) wrinkles.
There was no impressive visible change in any wrinkle(s). For the cost, it didn't work well. Four weeks should be more than ample time to notice a visible difference.
L'Oreal Hair Color rocks, and is the only brand I trust to put in my hair, but this lotion cost around $20 and was a real disappointment. It just didn't do what it was advertised to do!
How often this happens? $20 here, $20 there... All those $20's can really add up fast. The point is to really investigate products you buy and consume. Find out what their ratings are before you cough up money for products that don't work! The only products that work well without having to use a massage technique, have retinol or Vitamin A in them. Both work well at reversing the biological clock.
If you don't have the money for plastic surgery or expensive lotions that 'don't work so great', use the ironing massage technique for facial wrinkles! If you really want to get rid of facial wrinkles quickly, other products that work well are chemical peels. These are truly the only way to visibly change your skin in very little time, besides plastic surgery of course!
