Makeup Review – Your Opinions Are Important!

For younger women who are just starting out using beauty products, finding the right one can be a bit daunting! That's what makes reviews so valuable!

When I was growing up, my sister and I started experimenting with different makeup at about age 13. Back then there wasn’t the huge variety to choose from that exists now. (Even though we thought there was!) We bought our makeup in Roses or the drugstore because there was no Walmart or internet back then. My how things have changed!

So what are your favorite brands? Do you have an opinion about which brands work best? (We all do, don't we?) What impulsive and irrational woman hasn’t tried different brand makeup products? Some women prefer however, to stick with brands they’ve been using for years. Many pursue other name brand cosmetics because they like to experiment and think outside the box.

The first makeup brands that were popular back in the 70's, were a mish mosh lipsticks and shadows. Although they had no uniformity, we sure had a lot of fun choosing which ones to buy. The choices over the years have only gotten more complicated. What that means for you is that you'll probably have to try several brands before you know which ones work best on you.

Rome wasn't built in a day, so take your time. A good way to try different brands is to try one new brand of mascara, foundation, eyeshadow, or liner every month. That won't break the bank and you'll sort through the complicated choices and find the ones that work best for you!

Many women opt to use several different brands which gives them more flexibility and many more options. That's the way cool thing about having so many brands in the first place! Colors are really hot right now, and different brands have different shades of colors. Variety truly is the spice of life when it comes to colors!

Of course, you may have an old standard makeup that you've been using for years and won't switch for anything on this earth. That's cool too. Different strokes for different folks! But with so many different brands, it seems a shame to not try out a few others!
