Make Thin Hair Thicker

by kathy

I have naturally curly hair but for the past year I've been relaxing my hair and now it looks thin. I like the texture of my hair but wish it could be thicker.

What can I do to make it look thicker without giving up my relaxer? My hair is pretty long too. I have been considering extensions, layers, etc., but I am just not sure.

Have you tried volumzing products? These are specifically designed for thin hair types. You could create some long layers in your hair but don't overdo it. Too many layers could make your hair look choppy, especially since layers are more noticeable on straight hair than they are on curly hair.

One way to get more volume is to use hair color glazes. If you don't want to add color, they are available in a clear solution also.

Also, one reason your hair might be getting thinner is because you might be creating damage to your hair by straightening it everyday. It might be healthier for your hair to just go ahead and have your hair chemically straightened by a professional. Yes, it costs a lot of money to have done but you maybe saving your hair from future hair damage!

If you like the idea of eating your way to thicker hair, you can eat certain foods to help grow your hair thicker.
