If you want to turn back the clock, you may need a long hair makeover. As you grow older, long hair can drag down your face, which is not flattering. As you age, your skin and face are naturally pulled down by nature anyway. Having long hair might make you look like you're older than your actual age. The older you get, the more you risk looking older than your years, by simply keeping your hair longer.
Women love their hair, so changes usually come slowly if at all. Trimming your hair often is a great way to keep your ends healthy, but sometimes you need to a good haircut to get rid of split ends that occur higher up in your hair. You'd be amazed at how good you and your hair will look after you cut more hair off.
Ever notice how older women instinctually want to cut their hair. It's almost like mother nature calling them to cut it off. Not only is shorter hair a great anti aging tip, but shorter hair is also easier to take care of and looks much healthier.
I'm not knocking long hair at all. I love it however, it is good to change things up every now and then. If you have long hair and haven't changed it in years, you may be in need of a long hair makeover too.
I did this video back in December of 2008. I cut quite a bit off my hair to show you how it really doesn't hurt and it really does help! Shedding a few inches might seem intimidating, but you'll be thankful once you get rid of some of the weight you've been carrying around. You don't have to cut it way short either. A good medium length hair style might be the best move you've made in a while!
