Long Bangs, Color, and Haircut
by Caitlyn
(Birmingham, AL)
Here's some information about my hair: Its not thin and not thick, its sort-of in between. It’s also a light blonde color but in the summer it turns a little green.
So I don't know what to do with my hair but I want to get side bangs and my hair colored, and I was wondering, what color should I color it and how short should my side bangs be?
Or should I cut it short or leave it long and cut side bangs? I need your help! I have attached an image. I am the blonde girl with the darker blue shirt and the brown pants. Please help me!
Love, Caitlyn Smith

There was no picture attached to this entry Caitlyn so your questions are very hard for me to answer. I would need to know your
facial shape to advise you.
Longer bangs are typically cut on bony protrusions on your face. Your cheekbones or chin bone is a great guide for long bangs.
The decision as to what color you should try, is entirely up to you. The same is true for your hair length. I can't make that decision for you sweetheart but I can give you this advice.
Go into a salon and look through some of the style books that they have available. You can also get some great ideas by using the free hair demo's tools on this site.
