5 Lipstick Shades for Cool Weather
Some lipstick shades carry through every season, but there are a few that are best suited for the cooler times of the year. Usually deep in color, they add warmth to your complexion when there’s not much around. Choose carefully though! Not all colors will look good against your skin.
When you use the right shades, your face will light up and exude a touch of elegance. Just look through your favorite fashion magazine to find the shades that are the most inspirational to you. Adding a wet gloss over a dark shade increases reflection. Or leave it alone to help lips look dark and mystifying. It’s totally up to ya! Here are a few lipstick colors to try now.
5 Lipstick Shades for Fall and Winter
Try a nice merlot or cabernet. But don’t drink them. Just wear them! (as pictured just above)
Various fruits have been used to flavor the lips since early times. Thankfully, you don’t have to extract them yourself these days. Choose colors that exude mulberries, cherries, raspberries, or even blueberries.
Orange colors are typically left behind in warmer seasons, but oranges that are mixed with red might just do the trick. Orangey-reds (like a fire engine red) are a perfect unexpected color that’s sure to surprise!
Another fruit you can be wild about in cooler weather is the plum. Laced with purple undertones, there are many possibilities that are sure to flatter.
Sometimes, less is more! If you’d like to dramaticize your eyes with those false lashes you’ve been saving, then try toning down your lips with subtle 'barely there' shades. Going without lipstick is another option if drab colors wash out your skin. Use a high gloss for those sparse occasions.
When the outside temps take a big dip, these 5 lip colors are the perfect recipe. Their cheery and hearty hues are sure to be a big hit!
