Lighter Root Color on Gray Hair
I have been using majirel 8 and 8.3 (half and half) for many years now. The problem is my hair is so gray now my roots are lighter than rest of my hair. I use 9% peroxide tried it with 6% but my Hair to dark then. I was thinking of using a nine and 9.3 with 9% but I don't want to be yellow, can you advise me please?

Try using a 9 level beige blonde color, if Marjarel has it. (I used Marjarel all the time when I was working at a salon! and love it!) Beige blonde colors have a hint of golden colors but not nearly as much as a .3 golden colors. (If I remember correctly, the beige blonde is a .13, so look for a 9.13 color)
Also, try using a 10% peroxide. Its for deposit only color and should do the trick. Trying to get a 6% or a 9% is just extra work that's not necessary. Its just a lot easier to divide 20 volume peroxide in half with water, to make 10 volume peroxide.
But use the 9 volume on your roots only. If you want to refresh the ends, use the 8 and 8.3 mixture and soap cap the color.
