Lifting Medium Brown Hair to Blonde

How do I lighten previously colored hair 3-4 levels without using bleach? I want to lift my hair from a level 4 to a level 6 or 7. Thank you for your time. *************** According to what information you gave me, your hair is medium brown (level 4) and you want to lift it 3 levels to a medium blonde, level 7 (4 levels would be a light blonde, level 8)? The best way to lift without pulling red/orange colors and without using bleach, is to do a double process. Use a level 6 dark ash/beige blonde with 20 volume peroxide. If your hair isn't light enough and you need more lift, use a level 7, 8, or 9 ash blonde color with 20 - 40 volume peroxide. (depending on how much more lift you need) If your color looks drab, use a toner on it afterward. Doing a double process, using an ash color, and using a low volume peroxide will help reduce the chance of pulling red or orange colors and will not damage your hair. |
