Is it OK to Swim with Blonde Hair?

About a month ago I dyed my hair from light brown to blonde using a permanent color. Is it alright to go swimming?

Why, sure it is!
Chlorine from a pool shouldn't interfere with today's hair colors, especially if you're not in the pool everyday. If you're afraid to try, get your hair wet (shower) before you get in the pool. Your hair can't hold but so much water, so the water from the shower will keep your hair from being able to absorb water from the pool. Make sense?
As your hair starts to dry in the sun, simply shower again to fully saturate your hair, before you get back in the pool.
Salt from the ocean won't hurt it either.
The sun however, might lighten your hair more though. If your hair does get lighter during the summer, you can always tone it back down with a hair toner or a semi permanent color later.
