Increase Metabolism to Lose Weight

One of the best ways to increase metabolism to lose weight is to omit wheat products from your diet. Did you know that for MOST people, the gluten found in wheat actually slows metabolism down? It can also make you feel very sluggish.

When you feel sluggish, you are more likely NOT to move. Lack of movement makes you gain weight! Its a vicious cycle! Gluten is also found in many legumes, breads, grains, and beans. The more you eat, the more you will ssslllooowwww down metabolism.



Gluten lectins inhibit insulin metabolism and that interferes with the body’s efficient use of calories for energy. Instead of keeping you lean with high energy, gluten makes you gain weight and feel tired. Corn and sugar fructose can also be inhibitor of a slow metabolism to a lesser extent in some people.

There are some legumes and beans, particularly kidney beans and lentils, that can slow down metabolism even more. If you know your blood type and you are Type O, wheat affects you the most and is a definite 'no no' if you are trying to win the battle of the bulge!

You must increase metabolism if you want to lose weight, not slow it down!






This is especially true for Type O, but also to some extent if your blood type is A. For both blood types, the lectins that gluten contains, deposit in the muscle tissues making them more alkaline and less charged for activity.

Both types are more active when their muscle tissue is slightly acid, not alkaline. For these blood types, the more acid the muscle tissue, the faster and more efficiently calories are burned off.

If you want to lose weight and increase metabolism, try giving up bread for a month. It can really make a difference. Wheat gluten is like glue. It sticks to you!

You will save money by not buying as many wheat products, and and lose weight by not consuming them! Think about how much wheat you eat and products that contain it. Pasta, breads, bagels, boxed dinners, fried foods, cereals... The list is endless. Giving up wheat for a while isn't that hard once you get used to it.

Eat more lean protein, low fat cheese, fruits, and vegetables. To get a good start, at least limit your bread intake to two slices a day maximum. You will be surprised at how fast the weight comes off!

The absolute best way to increase metabolism and accelerate weight loss (and inches) is to do a health cleanse. I did one after Thanksgiving last year. The more fat you have to lose, the more weight you have to lose. Women tend to lose more inches and men tend to lose more weight.

No exercise required, although it is recommended. This program is set up for people who are serious about their health and want to get more out of life. I do not recommend it if you aren't committed to being healthier.
