Increase Hair Growth

I have been taking Biotin and pre-natal vitamins everyday for almost a year now, and I have noticed that my hair is growing. I also use plenty of conditioner and hair masks whenever I wash my hair, which is usually every other day.
I am just wondering if by using the things I am using, will help my hair grow faster and be super healthy? Are there any other things I can take or use to make it grow quicker? Do these steps help hair grow faster, and if so, how much per month?

Certainly, vitamins help increase hair growth. Using conditioners and masks however, don't necessarily speed up hair growth but they will make your hair look healthier for sure. Regular
protein treatments with moisture also help your hair stay healthy.
Taking
Super Biotin is always smart. Regular Biotin comes in 1000mcg., but Super Biotin is 5000 mcg. The extra 4000 mcg. really gives it the 'oomph' it needs to make a difference. It also helps
your nails grow faster and increases cell formation for the
regeneration of your skin.
Massaging your scalp increases circulation to your scalp, which increases the rate at which your hair follicles produce new hair.
If your hair is long enough, you can also try wearing a ponytail on top of your head every night when you sleep. (Use a loose cotton hair tie.) The hair on the top of your head, naturally grows up. When you wear your hair down, you are fighting nature. When you wear your hair up, it allows your hair to grow in natural alignment.
I just posted a page about
beauty sleep yesterday. When you sleep, the cells in your body get to work. Sleep is a time for regeneration and rejuvenation. I have always worn my hair up 'Pebbles style' during sleep and swear that it helps increase hair growth. There is no scientific evidence to back the theory but it makes perfect sense.
If you have
split ends, be sure to
trim your hair regularly. Its an 'old wives tale' that trimming your hair will help it grow, but getting hair trims keep your hair from splitting more.
Eating
healthy foods also helps with cell turnover in your body. Proteins found in eggs, meat, legumes, and even soy are vital to hair growth because your hair is made of Keratin, which is a protein. When you eat too much
junk food, your body isn't able to function properly. Healthy foods however, contain vital nutrients that allow your body to function normally.
Other supplements such as vitamins
B, (called the Beauty vitamins)
E, and
D encourage healthy cell division and might increase hair growth. (Take Vitamin D3 for best results. I love
D3 Gummie Chews.)
Its impossible to tell you how much
extra your hair will grow per month. Everyone's hair grows at about the same rate (about 1/2" per month) but some people's hair grows faster or slower than the norm. Just keep up the good work and you should begin to see a difference in your hair length soon.
