Improve Dry Rough Hair
by Ahsan
Hey Helper, I’m in state of great confusion and depression. I'm an 16 year old male which might recall you that this time is particularly crucial one considering every aspect of life such as building personality and building lifelong friendships.
HHUUUHHH much said for that!
The problem is and had with for a pretty long time is my hair is dry and rough. My hair seems to be completely deprived of moisture. I have tried many shampoos along with moisturizing conditioners and even oils but in vain. The fact is that my dull hair gives my personality such a disgusting and disfigured image which encourages me getting on an ill look!! I looks as if I've not been taking a shower for months and neither rinsed through my hair even though I take shower twice a day.
Please recommend me some treatment of any kind you know because my life seriously sucks with my hair like this. I always dream of beautiful, dense and fresh hair which actually seem impossible for me to have. Please help bringing this change to my dreary life made by my hair problem. Thank you! Ahsan

Your
hair problems could be caused by a multitude of things. It could be heredity, the water you're using when you wash your hair, over-washing your hair, your environment, stress, and a lot of other factors.
If you are shampooing your hair twice a day, that's only making your hair dryer. Your scalp cannot help moisturize your hair if the oils from your sebaceous glands are being washed away that often. Only wash your hair every couple of days instead. Even if you rinse your hair twice a day, you are still depleting oils. Keep your hair out of the water, unless you are shampooing your hair.
Always condition your hair after shampooing. Do not rinse out your conditioner completely however. Leave a small amount on your hair to help replenish and attract moisture and protect your hair. Use
moisturizing conditioners each time you wash your hair.
Make sure the products you use on your hair are alcohol free. Alcohol dries out your hair and won't help nourish and moisturize it. Use
organic shampoos that don't contain alcohol, sulfates, or other
harmful chemical ingredients. (Be sure to check the ingredients on your conditioners. Many of them also contain sulfates or alcohol.)
You can also use
shampoos for dry hair and/or
moisturizing shampoos. Both do the same thing. That is, they help to moisturize your hair.
Always remember to comb wet hair (with a wide toothed comb) and be gentle when you brush
dry hair. Do not over brush or do vigorous brushing. Use natural bristle brushes that are gentle on your hair.
About once a week, use a
deep moisturizing conditioner. Apply to dry hair and cover with a cap for an hour or two, for best results.
Be sure to
drink plenty of water, as it helps to moisturize your hair from the inside out. Water is essential to all the proper functions of your body.
A good
home hair treatment is to simply use an egg. Separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Beat the egg white vigorously until it's frothy. Add one tablespoon of water to the egg yolk and blend until creamy. Gently mix the yolk and white together and apply to your hair and massage into your scalp. Rinse with plenty of fresh water.
