Huge Hairdresser Mistake!
Where do I start? I'll make it short. My hair was down to my bottom with long layers. A simple do that I sported proudly for years. I was at sally's and asked a worker to recommend a salon as my recent hairdresser lost her way and left my hair very uneven last time. She said her mother had her own salon. I realized her mother was my hairdresser in junior high. So i made an appointment as soon as I could. I informed her when I arrived my specific cut... Shorter layers kept even across the bottom absolutely no "v" cut and only 2 inches off the length. No problem she said that is simple enough. Great! The cutting begin. She stop to gossip on the phone when it rang bragging she was cutting hair down to someones bum. At the end of of the cut that took 1 hour I had everything I didn't want!!! I looked like I had a rat tail! There was a 'v' cut so dramatic I only had a sliver of hair left long enough to reach just below my bra strap. Immediately the waterfall came from my eyes. She had no explanation as to what she did. All she had to say was your still going to pay full price. As I cried I gave her the money and said how am I going to fix this. All she could say was let it grow some and tell me how you like it. I ended up finding someone to fix it leaving my hair to my shoulders. It's not just hair to some people!!! If you can't do what the client wants for goodness sake don't touch their hair. *********** I agree whole heartedly. If a hairdresser gets on the phone one time, and leaves you to gossip, that's a good sign that you need to get up off 'the chair' and leave. Anyone who doesn't respect your time, isn't going to respect your wishes. (My two cents anyway!) |
