Keep medications out too. You may need them in the morning! After you’ve had coffee and are half way awake, take a hot shower. This is especially helpful if your sinuses are bothering you. Take medications to relieve symptoms to help you get through your day! Be sure to pack some to take with you if you’re going to be away from home most of the day, in case symptoms return. Drink water! Water is vital to your body when it’s well, but especially when it's stressed. Knowing how to look great includes water anyway, but it’s even more important when you’re sick! Water helps flush toxins out of your body. If you have excessive phlegm, drink lemon water to reduce symptoms. If you have a morning work out routine, go ahead and do it. Studies are now showing that exercise during a cold especially, is good for you! Tidy up eyebrow hair. Neglected eyebrows are a sure fire way of letting people know you’re not paying attention! They can also detract from how you look great! Pluck obvious straying eyebrow hairs before you head out the door. Put on your best face! Makeup is a must have if you’re under the weather. Start out by using a good moisturizer, then allow it to dry for at least 10 minutes. Makeup can hide and conceal the fact that you’re not feeling well! Use it!

If your eyes are tired and watering because of allergies or head colds, don’t try and line the rim of your eyes with eyeliners or apply them along lower lashes. It just won't stay in place! Apply a standard black liner above your upper lashes, or try using white eyeliners along the upper lashes or on the rims of your eyes if they're not watering. They can really brighten your eyes, even when you’re not feeling good! Apply a blush that gives your face color back! Blushes are a great way to bring your face back from the dead zone. Use a pink or peach blush to add a hint of sunshine to your cheeks. When you’re sick, use medium-light colors only so you don't over exaggerate your facial features.
