What are your holiday hairstyle ideas? Are you planning to wear a new style, cut, color, or do's.
Most people plan to wear their hair a certain way on many holidays or when they attend that certain holiday party.
Spiral curls are a really versatile hairstyle that’s always popular. After you spiral curl your hair, you can bobby pin the curls up or off to the side in sections to create a different look.

If you plan to spiral curl your hair, here are the basic instructions:
For Long Hair - To spiral curl long(er) hair, straighten it first. You'll create a much cleaner look. You can either use a spiral curling iron, or you can use a regular barrel iron. To do this, curl your hair holding the iron vertically instead of horizontally. For best results, use a 1 1/2" barrel iron or smaller. Large barrels don't work too well on spiral curls.
For Short Hair - To spiral curl short hair, you can use a 1" barrel or simply make pin curls throughout your hair when your hair is wet. Allow it to dry overnight, then take out the next day after it's dry. For longer holding curls, apply gel to your wet hair, before you pin curl it.
Below are some holiday hairstyle idea pictures. Spiral curls are a great way to style your hair for holiday parties.
For pizazz, add a splash of color that relates to the holiday. For example, add a splash of red hair color for Valentines or Christmas, for St Patrick's, try a festive Irish green clip. For 4th of July, stick to the traditional red, white, and blue! Each holiday has its own color associations. Use them in your hair to help decorate and celebrate!
Be festive! Have fun!

These curls are very clean which means that her hair was straightened first. Since the curls seem 'squarish', a 2" or smaller straightening iron was used to create them.
This hairstyle is really funky and festive. The loose spiral curls have streaks of different colors running through it. Her hair was not straightened before curling, therefore the look is not as uniform.
Sure wished she'd smile, ya know?
