Homemade Hair Remedy Treatments

If your hair is looking a bit frayed, try some homemade hair remedy treatments! They’re cheap, easy to do, and can make a big difference in the way your hair looks and feels.

What most people don’t understand is that your hair (and nails) require as much, if not more, moisture than your body. If you drink lots of water, you help to hydrate your hair from the inside out, but you really need more, especially if your hair is porous. Blonde hair is much more porous than dark hair, although dark hair can get dried out too. This becomes especially true if you use a lot of chemicals or products in your hair.

The sun can really dry out your hair too during the hot summer months and harsh winter chills can dry it out too. Your environment is something you can't change. What you can change is the way that you treat your hair.

Your hair needs as much moisture as your skin and nails, to stay healthy and radiant. Other things that dry out your hair include over-washing, chlorine, salt water, heat from dryers and hair appliances, and hot water. Use these home remedies to take back the life of your hair!
