Hair Products Causing Oily Bangs

I have long loose curly hair and gave myself bangs recently, which i love. I straighten them with a small ceramic hair straightener. After washing my hair i use Bumble and Bumble curling cream to keep the frizz away. If i don't put it in my bangs before i straighten them they will be very frizzy and if i do they feel oily by the 2nd day. I don't wash my hair everyday because it will dry out my hair but i straighten my bangs everyday otherwise they will curl, but my bangs get oily by day 2. I don't want to use a powder because i don't know how that will affect my hair when i have to straighten my bangs. How can i keep the oil away without washing my hair everyday?

Stop using regular shampoos in your hair.
Curly hair behaves much better with
organic hair products because they have no
bad hair ingredients in them.
Also, it might just be the Bumble and Bumble product that's making your
hair oily. There are other
smoothing products on the market you can try. For example, I get great results using
Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff, which works well for all hair colors.
You could also try the 'No Poo' way of taking care of your hair. Stop using shampoos altogether and use conditioners only. It will help defrizz your hair so you don't have to use any products to tame your hair at all.
