Hair Loss and IBS

Is it normal to lose your hair when you have IBS? I was diagnosed about 6 months ago and every time I wash my hair, it comes out by the handfuls. I use the shampoo and conditioner by Nioxin for thinning hair but it isn't working. I talked to my doctor and he said to take Vitamin B complex and B12. He did not know this but I had already been taking it for about 9 months. Please help! Thank you!

Most of the time, losing your hair (alopecia areata) can be attributed to most all autoimmune disorders. This includes, but is not restricted to, Crohns, Ulcerative Colitis and other digestive disorders.
Most of the time,
hair loss is temporary and you should stop losing your hair naturally.
Vitamin B complex is good but another key B vitamin is best!
Super Biotin is the best way to help grow back your hair.
Also,
hair loss is often attributed to a yeast infection on your scalp. If you notice dandruff, then use a shampoo that helps kill the yeast. The quickest acting and best is
Nizoral AD shampoo.
