There is not much you can do when hair is this damaged. You can try a
hair reconstructor or a
911 Emergency Pak which might help but you need to apply them to your hair quickly, before you lose more hair.
Bleach is almighty powerful, which you found out the hard way. If left on the hair too long, hair will actually disintegrate in front of your eyes! Hair that's over processed by bleach will feel mushy to the touch, especially when its wet, which is also the time that hair is most susceptible to
hair breakage!
After you apply an emergency treatment (or a few of them) you can bolster your hair's integrity by using
protein treatments with added moisturizers.
A good shea butter conditioner like
Frederic Fekkai Shea Butter Hair Mask is also a great choice for overprocessed hair.
Do not brush your hair. Use a detangler first, then use a wide toothed comb to GENTLY comb out your hair while you're in the shower (gentle now!) and then leave your hair alone!
You might also help to boost your hair's integrity by using a good
leave in conditioner with added vitamins! Take
Super Biotin daily to help encourage
hair growth.
