Hair Disaster

I went into the salon that I go to every now and then. I told my hair dresser I waned short at the back but longer at the front with one long strand on one side and one shorter strand on the other. When she started cutting she snipped all my hair off one side so short. I was freaking out inside but I trusted her because she has done my hair before and it turned out good. But it only got worst when she only slightly trimmed the other side. I looked like a freaky troll. To style it she put 3 curlers in the top of my hair. I looked so retarded! Just picture one very extremely long side and one extremely short with 3 abnormally large bumps at the top! I was speechless and said I like it cause I didn't want her to do worse. (Like there even was a worse...) And I had to pay which made me so angry considering it cost 50 bucks and it was so bad. I went home washed it hoping that maybe a different style would help but nothing all it looks like she just drooped dead cutting the other side. And the best part is my boyfriends mom wanted to cut my hair and I know she's going to freak when she see mine. AAAAHHHHHH! What a nightmare! That night I cried so much my eyes were blood shot. I told my boyfriend that this had to be the worst compared to the bull haircut some dude gave me as a child. I don't know how he can feel attracted to me when I look like a troll. *********************** Gosh Becky! Its a shame when you entrust professional people to listen to your requests, and then they just go off on their own and do what they want to do, or what they think is best for you. It doesn't sound like she listened to what you really wanted in the first place. The good news is that hair grows back. I've had my hair messed up so many times and I survived it. I also know you can't see it now, but you will survive too. I think it would look better (now that the damage is done) to go ahead and have the longer side cut to match the shorter side. That way your hair can grow out at the same rate on both sides. In the meantime, you could take some hair vitamins and/or Super Biotin to help your hair grow out as fast as possible.
