If you have dry hair, you will need a good deep hair conditioning treatment to help moisturize it. Dry hair look dull and frizzy. Healthy hair looks shiny and lustrous. If you've been using your curling irons a bit too much and using tons of hair products, you may need to deep condition your hair to get it's luster back.
There is one deep conditioning treatment that works better than any other I've ever tried. You can usually find it in the African American hair section of your local beauty store. If not, you can certainly buy it online. Its called hair cholesterol and works for all hair types. Cholesterol used to be a bright orange color. Now it's a cream color but works just the same. You apply it to dry hair and then cover it with a hair cap. Afterward, if you've got a heated dryer to sit under, that helps it work even better. If not, you can just sit in a warm place, perhaps out in the sun for an hour or so.
After you've left it on for a few hours, (or overnight), get into a warm shower and rinse it completely out of your hair until the water runs clean. Your hair and hands will be sssoooo soft after you're done and feel just like butter! Cholesterol is one of the least expensive deep hair conditioning treatments on the market! I've always bought Queene Helene, but they all work about the same so buy whatever brand you like. For full instructions, please view my video below!
Of course, other things that are recommended for healthy hair include taking Biotin, getting regular trims, eating healthy foods, keeping excess heat and hair products away from hair, and not over-brushing your hair.
