Hair color won't hold on permed hair
I got my hair permed in August and the perm is already falling out and its my second one. I dyed my hair with box colors in the past but nothing too light and my hair remained dark. But with the perm the color doesn't stay in anymore and I was wondering if I bleach my hair and then dye over if the color if my hair will take it? Can I bleach my hair and then dye it if my perm is practically gone? or do I need to wait until it is all grown out?

It sounds to me more like you have a porosity problem. That's why your hair can't hold the color. You need to fix your hair porosity before trying anything actually.
Read more about hair porosity on these two pages:
What is Hair Porosity and Why It's Such a Big Deal! How to Improve Hair Porosity and Give Your Hair a Boost!Once you bolster your hair, your hair will be better able to accept and hold color. The cuticles of your hair need to properly close for color to take.
Bleaching over previously permed hair is risky at best. If you try this, you need to re-establish the porosity of your hair before you bleach and after you bleach. (Hence before you try coloring it.)
However, it may be worthwhile to improve your hair porosity first, then try another color. You may find that once porosity is amended, your hair will better hold the color.
Hope this helps!
